When the AI attempts to use a tool — whether it exists or not — the app logs it. If the model hallucinates a tool that doesn't exist, the call is blocked and recorded. If it tries a tool that's been disabled, same thing. You see everything in DiffusionScope.

Tool exists and ran successfully. The model did what it was supposed to.
Blocked
Model tried a tool that doesn't exist or has been removed. Caught and rejected by the sandbox.
Hallucinated
Model invented a tool entirely. Never executed. Logged for transparency and training improvement.
We track only the tool name attempted and whether it was allowed — never the content of your request. This data helps us improve the model's accuracy while keeping your work completely private.

Everything DiffusionScope™ records lives in a local database on your Mac. There is no telemetry pipeline in COTID™ today — no background upload, no usage reporting, nothing to opt out of. If we ever add optional, anonymous sharing to help improve the model, it will be off by default, one toggle per metric, with an instant-off switch. You'll decide before anything ever moves.
